Have you put away your Summer clothes yet?

I am wearing my onesey while watching tv. I very rarely wear dresses or skirts. So for me its t shirts, trousers or jeans with jumper or fleece. Summer has just whizzed by , today is equinox so it's downhill from now on. My summer clothes will be packed way on Sunday.

Yes they are in the bags ready for the loft, BUT leaving them down ready for the weekend's Indian summer.

I am so lucky this year! I had some new fitted wardrobes put in two bedrooms so have moved DHs clothes (only his clothes though) to the other bedroom so now I can have all clothes available all seasons in 'my' wardrobes!

Thanks for the tips about long sleeved t-shirts. There is a Primark near here I will try and, strangely enough, I have been invited to a neighbour's Boden party tomorrow at which she is offering 20% off, so I will go to that, too.

Not to old. Primart is fab for long sleeve t shirts. 2.50! I get very small close fit one's and treat like warm vests.couldn't manage without them. I must wear one every day..under cotton jumpers, tunic tops ...

Yup! Mine is put away. Moving into autumnal colour palette now. I jest. I do have autumnal/spring like clothes though.

NotTooOld, Boden do lovely long sleeved t shirts. The cotton is nice and thick and they don't lose colour in the wash. I like the scoop neckline too. Not much help this year but they do have some good bargains at the end of the season.

Horrible day today, cold and rain- and apparently it snowed in many parts of the Alps last night! So probably won't be long- mind you, sunshine and good weather due back tomorrow, so ...

All the real holiday stuff has gone away - sleeveless tops, white crops and trousers, summery t shirts - but haven't got out the winter stuff yet.
I really love this time of the year, but then I also love that time when I can get the summer clothes out as well. I could never live in any country that didn't have proper seasons. There's something enjoyable about each of our seasons.

I love clothes! I buy some new ones at the beginning of every season, and take old ones to charity shop!

Did someone mention snow? Polo necks out and winter dressing gowns have not been away all year. I've become afraid of winter.

I never really wear summer clothes in this country. I do have a drawer full of stuff I wear on holiday when it is actually warm!!! Here I tend to drop/add a layer as the weeks pass. So one layer is up to 2 at present, varying to 3 on some days.

I have only needed a cardigan once or twice here in Nova Scotia. We've has a real Indian Summer, and are almost looking forward to cooler days. He trees are just beginning to turn red. Seems like a long time before we get our first snowfall.

I haven't stopped wearing LAST winters jumpers yet.

My Mum has always had cold feet and I remember when I was little she had chilblains. She's always got socks on, loves cosy slippers - I bought her some of those slippers that go in the microwave that she uses in the winter (not supposed to walk in them, but she does a little bit!). I think I have my warmth from my Dad's side of the family because he was always too hot as well!

WilaKnickersfit (I just love your name!) you are so lucky not to get cold feet. I got out my furry boot-slippers two weeks ago.

I am going away for a few days on Saturday and hoping that the Indian Summer will appear then as forecast!

Don't know how many pairs of fluffy socks I've got, but I will never run out. I'm either in bare feet around the house or long socks under jeans if I'm out. I'll have bare feet in ballet flats for ages yet. Tights make an appearance on Christmas day!

Autumn starts when the clocks change

Swopped clothes around two weeks ago, so could make sure I was prepared for holiday and Yorkshire weather - and we had glorious sunshine

Very glad I did, wore thick tights today as so cold at work yesterday. Temperatures didn't get above 13° in Wiltshire today, and suspect they won't be any better tomorrow.

Heating's on too, albeit with thermostat turned right down, I hate being cold & I hate winter

I've succumbed to winter skirts this week but still with a T-shirt, albeit a 3/4 sleeve. I'm still wearing slingback shoes as I'm another person who hates hot feet. I don't own any thick jumpers, only jersey long sleeve tops.
I'm not a cold person. I haven't even contemplated putting the heating on yet.

What's the difference between 'bed socks' and the socks I've been wearing that I'm to cold to take off when I fall asleep on the sofa watching telly ; are they 'sofa socks'??

no, of course not, wearing them now, well with short socks in my trainers ;)
