Bom Dia all. It's sunny and bright this morning.
What a beautiful view hilda. I love those misty, moisty mornings.
DH went out in the garden early and said it is definitely feeling more autumnal. No green haze yet, though a 'dead' geranium that was going to be dug out as soon as the ground wasn't rock hard has taken it into its head to flower again.

I'm hoping for a lazy day doing what I want to do, after spending most of yesterday running round after both my DC.

A few jobs and the household accounts to do this morning. This afternoon I'm out with DD3 to order a pram and buy nursery bedding.

Morning all, just catching up after a long weekend away at a conference, then a very busy couple of days. Great to hear that the new roof is finally (almost) completed Dumpling. I've just had the bad news that the mould in the kitchen is dry rot, I'm waiting for the quote today, it's going to be a shocker!

At least the rain has stopped and it's a bright, sunny morning here.

Today is my little sister's 50th birthday and my parent's wedding anniversary. Tomorrow is my birthday and wedding anniversary. DH is taking me away for the weekend so I may not check in until Monday.

Starting on my chutneys. Making Mary Berries Christmas chutney which is based on fresh vegetables, and Dehlia's Christmas Chutney which is based on dried fruits.

It looks grey outside but the forecast is for sun. Our house is still rather damp as the muggy weather of the last few days hasn't allowed the carpets and furniture to dry out!

Bright, clear and still here - and you're right Mick, it looks cold! Winter draw(er)s on!

Our conservatory roof conversion is at last finished - except the poor lad who came to paint the ceiling was so exhausted by the end he couldn't hold the brush straight to cut in around the edges - so we're doing that today. Hope to get the furniture back too!
