What 3 things do you hate most?

I have to add one more.

Husbands that only half empty the dishwasher and you have put dirty plates in before you realise. Guess what happened this morning!
OK, he does lots of other things around the house which is great.

1.mothers chatting on mobile phones whilst neglecting their kids.
2.4x4 women drivers who don't know where reverse gear is, for parking, or when one meets them in a country lane... God knows how most of them got through the driving test!
3.Men who automatically presume they are more intelligent than I am ...simply because I am a woman. ( I see all of you nodding here) !

I put oranges in plastic bags though, else they run all over the place. I have tried not doing it but it doesnt work for me.

People in supermarkets who put bananas in plastic bags - why?

(1) People who pick up their dog's poo in a little plastic bag, tie a knot in it and leave the bag hanging from a tree.

(2) Cruelty, to anyone or anything.

(3) Marmite

Dog owners who scoop up the mess but then leave the bag and contents hanging on a fence. Who do they think is going to move it?

1 Telephone calls with no-one at the other end.

3 Self-important Scottish Nationalists - 5 million of them, 60 million English

1. Getting out of the shower to answer the door especially if it's a parcel for next door.
2. Feeling invisible in certain places, like shops, presumably because I'm old and grey. Any mention of the grey brigade.
3. Difficulty getting over styles when on country walks, it can be a bit hilarious sometimes though.

1. Cold, dark winter evenings (I try to escape)
2. Travelling (I do a lot of it - son in US and daughter and grandchildren in London)
3. People using mobile phones whilst talking to other people.

Irritated by:
1. Smug or pretentious people

2. Celebrities[?] - actors especially who feel they have to share their ideas on news situations with us. What have they ever done to make us think that their views are worthwhile or valuable? Most actors spend their lives speaking the words of others. Why should their own thoughts be taken as meaningful unless they've actually had some experience to back them up?

3. People who always look on the down side of everything. Don't mean to sound like a Pollyanna, but some people positively relish regaling you with all the 'bad' things that happen to them. Don't they notice all the little things they could be happy about?

Absolutely love this one !! I've done it too , but I feel so unclean afterwards .

i couldn't just pick three things - most of the fore mentioned and some!

Opening a magazine to find dozens of leaflets I don't want falling out of it.

Continuing to get fancy brochures in the post from companies I may have bought from once but have no interest in now.(always wrapped in plastic so I have to separate before I recycle)

1 dog poo in the street....., drivers who don't indicate.... cyclists who think I should get out of the way....cold callers.... the young who think the elderly have nothing interesting to say.

Companies that answer emails with a 'one fits all' reply, and don't answer your question.

Brilliant results. Having read through them all, I think I agree with all of them. I didn't realise that I had so many dislikes/hates. I am pleased I started this thread it has made interesting reading.
