Here in Fife it is a glorious sunny day with blue sky and the sea is calm as a mill pond. I have been making the most of it and been in the garden all morning sweeping up the leaves and putting the garden furniture to bed for the winter.

I think I've got the 'flu, been in bed for three days and am feeling absolutely awful.
Only good thing is I've lost half a stone, drinking plenty but have lost my taste buds.

Good morning from a brighter than yesterday Colchester. It didn't seem to ever stop raining yesterday. No plans this weekend but no doubt we will have a long walk at some point.

It's a bright start here in North Leicestershire but there are some ominous looking clouds!

We have DGD number 2 & 4 here today and overnight as their parents are going to a wedding. That will make the Saturday walk into the village more interesting.

Well done on your U3A Mick. We are hoping that some of our local groups will hire ourlibrary during closed times.

Weather a bit dull here on Devon. DH has gone out for an early tee off - he was up at about 6.15. So the house is mine for the morning . Nothing much planned, just going to enjoy the solitude!

We have broken cloud in Tynedale, but it looks as if it will improve. Washing to do and a little bit of ironing. Most of all I am having a relaxing Saturday.

Overcast and 'orrible here again today with a biting north easterly.

Off with DH to the hospital for his tests so at least we'll be warm there.

Good Morning Mick and All. U3A meeting sounds positive. Hope something good follows. Grey cloud here. Off to see DGS later so will be occupied and not worried about the elements. Physio sorted my neck so can move today. Hope your Saturday is as comfortable.

whitewave, the U3A meeting attracted a membership of a 150+ , with many joining the interest groups.
