We saw The Hollies twice; the first time was brilliant but the second time was very disappointing sad

Poetry in Motion, by Johnny Tillotson. The first record we bought when our Dad fixed the record player. Can't remember if he bought it for us or if one of my siblings bought it. And I can't remember the first record that I bought myself, but I do remember the first LP I bought - Sunshine Superman by Donovan. I was in love with him grin

I bought an LP of The King and I, when I was about 12 and didn't have a record player.
First single was King of the Road - Roger Whittaker, still no record player when I got that!
