Juicer vs Nutribullet?

I have read reviews that say that you get smoother "smoothies" with a juicer rather than a Nutribullet.

Can anyone advise?

I thought a juicer just extracted the juice, whereas the nutribullet is a powerful blender that uses all the pulp, flesh etc. We have a nutribullet and love it, put in green stuff_kale, lettuce, cucumber, apples, bananas, avocados, frozen soft fruit, seeds, nuts plus water or juice and you have a fantastic drink. Nothing much to wash up and nothing to chuck away apart from the odd banana skin . I am a nutribullet fan!

Yes, I think that's the difference - there's no waste with a Nutribullet.

I expect it would make 'smooth' smoothies if you added a couple of seconds to the blending time. As I use all sorts of fruit and veg in mine like suzied, I only whizz it for the minimum time.

Same here; although I did have problems with my Nutribullett [leakage shock] but they changed it for a new one and, thus far I've had no problems. I'd bought several juicers and never used them as there was far too much wastage and they were a devil to clean. Annoyingly Nutribullets are a lot cheaper now than when I bought mine. I put green tea in mine as it's a way of getting me to drink it on a daily basis.

I bought a Nutribullet for my son who is a keen athlete and he loves it. His juicer mostly sat on a shelf I think, but he uses the Nutribullet every day and enjoys mixing fruit and vegetables with various nuts and liquids to provide healthy drinks that include all the goodness of the fruits and vegetables and not just the juice.

Is there much difference between the basic level Nutribullet and the more expensive ones - does anyone know?

The more expensive ones are more powerful and you get more cups etc. We got a mid range one and it's fine.
