The forecast for later in the day is rubbish though. Apparently a weather system named Abigail is headed our way. DS coming for lunch. I have all the ingredients for a lamb curry laid out on the kitchen table.

Morning All. South Gloucestershire this morning. Dry and bright. Road looks wet though so must have rained in the night. Meeting friends for lunch then some shopping. Hope Thursday is kind to you.

Promising start to the day here in mid Essex, plenty of blue sky and wispy white clouds. Haven't been outside yet but it feels pretty mild.Have a good day everyone.

Lots of bitty jobs today and the cleaners arrive in half an hour so I must "crack on".

Good morning from a very dismal North Leicestershire!

As it's Thursday, it must be Sainsbury's and a visit to Mum.

We also have the annual street fair this week which means that our local town has to be avoided at all costs. We have awful weather predicted which is usual and is called 'fair weather'
