They keep them in a 'mermaid's purse' which is the egg case of a shark or some other sea dweller. They are sometimes found on the beach, next year I'll try and find one with a comb and mirror in it .

Anyway, she looks as if she drinks this Mermaid Drink:
Ingredients
1 shot Amaretto
1 shot Curacao, blue
1 shot Gin
1/2 shot Liqueur, melon (Midori)
1 shot Rum, white
1 shot Tequila, white
1 shot Vodka
3 splashes Pineapple Juice
2 splashes Sour Mix
1 splash Sprite
Mixing Instructions
Shake ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into glass. Garnish with Gummy Fish.

Note the splash of Sprite
