WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It has taken an age to read all your comments.. I opened the kitchen door quietly...thinking you lovely lot would be feeling a tad sleepy. It is a treat to find so many Kitcheners oot and aboot.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your company. I shall be ever grateful to Gransnet for introducing you all into my life.
AlieO A very special virtual hug from me to you.
Last evening MacSporran cooked a very tasty joint of lamb. We had mincemeat tart for "afters". I always wash the dishes. I enjoyed two glasses of sloe gin and MacS partook of a couple of drams of his favourite malt. We then watched Midsomer Murders and, after the ten o'clock news, we took to our beds. I read for fifteen minutes, and awoke at 8:30 this morning.
The day is crispy cold. In fact, I would swear that late yesterday evening, there was a brief flurry of snow.
We lit the fire after breakfast. We then watched the New Year's Day concert in Vienna. The music was joyful. The dancers were marvellous and the costumes were spectacular. Any other Kitcheners tune in to the concert? It is a very special event.
To all of you, in particular those of you who are lonely, sick or having to deal with bereavement or on-going family issues, I send my love and very best wishes for the year ahead.
