Good Morning Sunday

Good morning from North Leicestershire where it is still windy and we have grey clouds.

Our light switch on went ahead (minus gazebos) and was quite a lively affair. I wrote my Christmas cards and did the ironing. Christmas tree decorating today.

Good morning all.
Very windy during the night here in mid Essex but very little rain and beginning to look bright now..
DD1 lives in Cumbria so we were on the phone yesterday. They live on a hill so should be O.K. but I feel so sorry for those poor souls who will be returning to flooded homes and businesses perhaps for the second time in 10 years. Will check wit DD shortly, They had planned to go to the Christmas Fair at Hawkeshead but that had to be cancelled.

Good morning all.
Still very windy here in Stockport, yesterday our Christmas event with market stalls, charity raising, and carols with the local Brass Band had to be cancelled. Six months of organisation and hard work lost due to Desmond. I don't want him to ease off mick I can think of a far more appropriate word.

Well, it had stopped raining and there was a small patch of blue sky. Hey ho.

The doors to the outside are swollen with the hyper-humidity. Hey ho again.

Very strange coloured skies here this morning- firstly pink with black clouds then a curious dirty yellow (if it was cold I'd have said it was a snow sky).
Rather blowy in Wiltshire but dry at the moment.
Writing Christmas cards today and a presents list, then perhaps I'll get some inspiration

Sunday dawns bright and clear with beautiful pink clouds. No rain, and the wind has abated. We are promised a sunny day. Not much happening in Tynedale today, just the usual Sunday stuff.

Morning folks! I've put my head out the door and it's not raining (read raining as absolutely chucking it down, which it did all yesterday) at the moment. Hoping for a smidgeon of sunshine today.
