I am lucky enough to have been able to care for my DGC since birth and am a big part of their lives (and they mine).
I hope they remember me for the fun times, picnics, walks, visits to the library and special events, just playing out, paddling pool in the garden, growing things, teaching them to ride their bikes, board games, crafts, my impromptu story telling, making rhymes and poems, silly jokes, dancing, singing (Frozen! Aaargh!), made up games and shows.
Also for homework, making models for school, costumes improvised for special days, reading, writing, drawing etc, attending special events at nursery, school and church. Not to mention when they are poorly (one mummy doesn't do 'sick'), nursing and cuddles. Trips to doctor, dentist and A & E!
But most of all I hope they remember 'I love them forever'.
