A new edition to the clan

I have a new g nephew , Elis Charlie arrived yesterday in Plymouth, needless to say the Welsh flag will be in his nursery this week.

I now have eleven nieces and nephews plus their partners, ten g nieces and nephews plus several partners, and one g g nephew , the birthday card list is rather long now and it's great . Elis will be introduced to his g aunt Annie today - FaceTime, I am so thrilled , I wish him a happy life bless him

We would have moved when we retired nearer the sea again but can't bear to leave the DGD and the other DGC is so far away we only see him once a year (for an extended time though).

I admit the family has been reacting as if a new baby is rare in our clan grin , I warn/promise you all, if my younger daughters final attempt at IVF works this year after a twenty year wait, you will have to ban me from the forum

Anniebach How right your are about emotions within the family we have just gone through this with the arrival of our first GGD earlier this month she brought all those first time emotions we felt when we became GPs for the first time all those years ago.
