Good morning, Michael and all GNs, and a very happy birthday harrigran ???! Hope you have a terrific day. DH is trying to finish painting the ceiling in the conservatory so that hopefully we can get all the furniture put back by the weekend, and we'll be able to use the dining room again. I'm fed up of eating off trays. I shall be gardening as the weather is dry and fairly bright, but cold, here in South Yorkshire. Have a good day, all!

My painful knee is much better, but now I have back pain. One of the ladies at work recommended some exercises, so

Rain all night here on South Downs, but good grief it has put a huge spurt to the garden. Must get out and begin to tidy up the yellow daff leaves etc.

Mums laser treatment went off without a hitch so hoping that she can see more clearly this morning as the consultant said she would.

Might go to the garden centre today and get some plant for front door pots as tulips have been disappointing this year. Serves me right as I bought cheap ones -you get what you pay for!

Good morning all. It's bright and sunny in Cheshire. Too much to do today and I don't know where to start. I am off to Wales for a Geology weekend tomorrow. I need to round up my belongings and clean up the debris from my daughter's leylandii pruning from my car.

Good morning, it is grey here but it is still early and the sun may appear later.
I am just going to whisper this it is my 70th birthday and the clan will be gathering this afternoon. I have asked my hairdresser to visit so I don't look a total scarecrow on the photos.

We are going to the Hop Farm today. I bought H a voucher for a falconry experience for his birthday last month so he's going to play with the birdies

Lovely day in Liverpool, washing in the machine, next door returfed his lawn yesterday so all that rain helped. He has 5 chickens and made the mistake of giving them the run of the garden, which they changed into a mud patch, now he has a lovely green lawn. Minding the grandchildren this afternoon.
