I have osteoporosis, an irregular heartbeat, high blood pressure, arthritis, IBS, heartburn and asthma. I take Warfarin (which gives me thread veins) and Digoxin for my heart and the doctor has just put me on tablets to slow down my heart rate and lower my blood pressure (and hopefully get my swollen ankles down to their correct size!) I also take Calcium and Vitamin D for the osteoporosis and Lanzoprazole for the heartburn. At the moment I am having an asthma attack, so, as well as my two regular inhalers, I am taking antibiotics and anti-histamines. I also take charcoal and peppermint tablets for the IBS and a probiotic, as well as Loperamide from time to time as needed.I have an injection every six months for the osteoporosis and last year I tripped on an uneven pavement and broke two bones in my wrist. I also had a foot operation (to remove a staple that was holding in a pin that was put in place when I had both my feet operated on to straighten my deformed toes.) I also had a complete knee replacement last year, which has made my leg nice and straight again but is causing more pain than before and given me a new pain as well. On the plus side, I am nice and slim and look years younger than my age and always dress nicely.I had my hair colour done yesterday! As my handsome, late, Greek father-in-law said about himself, "I look like a nice rosy apple on the outside but I'm rotten inside!
Good to have a moan from time to time!
PS I also have a gorgeous supportive husband and two beautiful daughters with lovely husbands and two dear little grandchildren, who are all fit and well, so I really shouldn't complain!
