Good morning from a grey skied Colchester.
It was a lovely day yesterday after the early rain cleared so I got a lot of work done in the garden we while waiting for a delivery that didn't arrive. They couldn't find my address??
Poppycock, they were watching the football!
Grey this morning and a warning for flash floods later. More pottering while again waiting for same delivery. ....

Fairly grey here in N. Shropshire. Hopefully our patio will be finished today and life can get back to normal in the garden. I was going out to finish leafleting today, but after yesterday's terrible event I'm leaving it until Monday. So quiet day and catching up with my cross-stitch

Good morning, Michael, and all GNs. I hope we have a dryer day in South Yorkshire today. It bucketted down yesterday and we had thunder and lightening. Seems many others did too! Nothing much planned for today except defrosting the freezer in the garage. Have a good day folks.

A grey start today ! Yesterday afternoon was glorious but of course the football was on so Grampy was not to be moved !!

Today we're on tenterhooks as our granddaughter is in Dublin taking part in the World Karate Championships representing England !! Fingers crossed for her please, she's trained very hard for this x

Morning everyone. It's "mizzling" here on the SE Hampshire coast. We had a lot of rain yesterday including a late afternoon thunderstorm. It feels cool too so hope for some more sun this weekend.

Plans for today include Royal Ascot on TV and the delivery of a new mattress.

Morning everyone very cloudy in Liverpool, but hopefully it will be dry today last two days we have had heavy rain and thunder storms, daughter picked the best week to go on holiday.

Early start for me for no reason other than I can't sleep.
A nothing sort of day weather wise. No rain, no wind, just slightly overcast. Quite a wet afternoon yesterday with thunder.
I am hoping S will shop for me later on but he is not well, I am going to have to resort to shopping online I think.

it is a bit cloudy but the sun is trying to break through. I expect it will rain at some point.

Yesterday's Library management meeting was the fastest on record as the men were keen to get out to watch the football - I wish it was always like that! Today, I have to go to the butcher's and then visit mum among other things.
