We had loads of rain overnight but this morning North Leicestershire is looking bright and sunny. It's Thursday so it must be Sainsbury's! Then lunch with a couple of friends.

Good morning to you all, we too have one of the sunny spells promised for today, hope it lasts longer than just a spell. I just wish we would not keep hearing about 1976 and how hot and dry it was, and what the temperature should be,rather than what it is, to put it bluntly I am a bit fed up with the weather! However, since the sun is shining I am going to be positive and hope to enjoy the day ahead which involves a trip to the hair-dresser, not before time, the other half also, I have offered to plait his for him, but he is a spoil sport. Enjoy your days.

Sunny at the moment in West Lancs, rained a lot yesterday. Visiting Mum this morning then I'm off to the hairdressers too. Out for Chinese meal with friends this evening, I'm hoping for no talk about politics, wish me luck!!!!

Wish I could wear my Summer dresses, I'm going to wear out my jeans and cardigans before autumn at this rate.
Shopping, ironing etc.today and a bit of tennis (watching) later.

I now have to decide whether to start the ice cream making or to activate the pack of slug eating nematodes currently sitting in the bottom of my fridge.

It's actually sunny in Wiltshire at the moment, but clouds are looming to the SW. Found a lovely little amber yellow butterfly this morning on my walk, pity I didn't have my camera with me, I haven't seen one like it before.
I also found a new 'route' I haven't done before which I can add to my 'repertoire'. It's a pity that I get so muddy and wet on field routes that I have to keep to the lanes. I suppose eventually it'll dry up?
