Changes as we age

I think old age is like adolescence in that we change rapidly. As my body slumps and my skin wrinkles my tastes are changing.
As I grew up I began to like mushrooms and broad beans and now I've discovered I like beetroot! My mother always sliced beetroot in vinegar, which I've always loathed. If I live long enough will I start liking pickles or fish or runny eggs?
What can't you see yourself ever eating?

POGS - I also hated school milk it made me puke, warm in summer, lumps of ice in winter. My mother wrote to the school asking if I could be excused from having it, but to no avail, being a Catholic school they believed in suffering from an early age grin. Sadly born too early to be liberated from the vile substance by Thatcher the Milk Snatcher, when I heard that she had done away with school milk I felt insanely jealous of the generation of school children who would not have to face the daily horror of ingesting milk hmm

I used to love my school milk, icy lumps or luke warm. Even after a boy standing behind me was sick over my head, while queuing up to tell the teacher it was making him feel ill...
