These have got to be comfortable, no?

Who else luvs'em?

Love them - especially the thought that I could eat more without my trousers feeling tight around the middle!

I also remember trews. They were slim fitting and had stirups to keep them in place.

Sorry, I'm being really slow here...what yellow troosers is everyone discussing?

If you click on the blue writing in the very first post of the thread, gramma, the picture will come up. Enjoy!

Haha bags well, it would give the neighbours a laugh if I ever sallied forth wearing that. The young, slim attractive model still looks odd in it, so what chance the rest of us?

Nope, I don't think any of the above would do anything for me except cause people to cross the road to avoid me. I fear they wouldn't really be baggy enough to look right on me. The only attraction is the proper pockets.

I recently bought some snug fitting 'smart' trousers with what I thought were pocketses tacked up, but there was only one layer of liner - why?

Ana Mon 19-Sep-16 21:32:27

Why would you want pockets in snug fitting, smart trousers? 'Stuff' in them would bulge and ruin the line!

NfkDumpling Mon 19-Sep-16 21:35:52

That's what I thought, so why put in half a lining which showed through to look like a pocket? (They are quite tight!) I've cut them out!

Ana Mon 19-Sep-16 21:39:01

Yes, see what you mean. Quite a lot of trousers have those 'false pockets' but usually no lining at all.

GrammaH Mon 19-Sep-16 21:54:42

Oh my life! I don't think I'll be getting any!
