I've just been listening to T rex I love to Boogie which has helped my dusting go much faster than usual! What songs make you start tapping your feet? Think I need to make a housework playlist. grin

I have one already, MoBrown.
It's got Good Golly Miss Molly, Brown Eyed Girl, Hey!Baby, and lots of others.
This is my latest addition and current favourite, Chills and Fever by Ronnie Love smile

Mambo No. 5 (a little bit of erica...). I'm not a dancer but it always gets me moving!

rosesarered Thu 22-Sep-16 17:04:07

Hey! you! Get offa my cloud ( or almost anything by the Stones)

rosesarered Thu 22-Sep-16 17:04:41

Or Blondie

Spangles1963 Thu 22-Sep-16 17:18:33

I can't resist 'Jeepster' by T Rex.

Charleygirl Thu 22-Sep-16 17:23:35

The Stones, Queen and most songs from the 60's

Margsus Thu 22-Sep-16 17:30:35

Anything from the 60s for me too, plus (and I'm ashamed to admit this!) YMCA by the Village People - gets me every time!!

Jane10 Thu 22-Sep-16 17:39:47

Nothing makes me dance -just walking would be good enough for me! Dratted knee angry

Juggernaut Thu 22-Sep-16 17:48:40

Footloose, Kenny Loggins
Build Me Up Buttercup, The Foundations
Tiger Feet, Mud
And to be honest, many, many others, it's a good thing our kitchen isn't directly overlooked, it could scare the neighbours to death watching me cavorting about!
MoBrown The default ring tone on my mobile is set to 'We Love To Boogie'!grin

NotTooOld Thu 22-Sep-16 18:02:54

Yes, Jug - We Love to Boogie is definitely dance making. Also Dancing on the Ceiling and all the Stone stuff.

NotTooOld Thu 22-Sep-16 18:03:19

I mean Stones. Doh.

annodomini Thu 22-Sep-16 18:09:03

'Let's twist again'. But if I did try to do the twist, I'd fear for my back - and knees. In the late 60s, Mary Hopkin's 'Those Were the Days' was popular in discos I attended and, though I don't hear it often these days, I'd be up and swaying, dreaming of 'Those Days' when I was still young and free.

I have to dance to Happy Just to Dance with You by the Beatles, Just Wanna Dance the Night Away (can't remember who that's by), Wake Me Up Before You Go Go by Wham, Mambo Number 5, loads more smile

gillybob Thu 22-Sep-16 18:41:35

I am totally with you MoBrown I can't sit still when I hear anything by T Rex . Especially I Love to Boogie perfect for getting the hoovering done too.
Mind you I'm a country music fresk and love cooking to my country stuff. DH gets worried when I cook to Jackson by Johnny Cash and June Carter. grin

nanaK54 Thu 22-Sep-16 18:45:38

Thingmajig Thu 22-Sep-16 20:42:15

DGD is obsessed with Mama Mia (the film) so we spend days (when she is here) with it on the loop and sing and dance our way through the day.
The wee DGD has few words and yet sings like a wee linty. Super Trouper continually in her bath tonight.smile

Beth61 Thu 22-Sep-16 20:46:49

Anything by ABBA or Status Quo. Or Tiger Feet by Mud. Or Sugar Baby by Rubettes. Oh and not forgetting Bay City Rollers- still have tartan hot pants languishing in a case somewhere.

Lillie Thu 22-Sep-16 21:24:00
