Being cold shouldered

I don't see why you can't ask if you've done something to upset her? Only you can know if she is really giving you the cold shoulder or if maybe its a misunderstanding.

There is only one solution Hildagard and you know what you have to do, be brave, you can only do something if you know what is wrong

Approach her calmly and quietly and ask if you have offended her.
What I am trying to say is don't make it an accusation.

There could be all sorts of reasons, including she knows you love her and will forgive her if she seems offhand. Its hard to say without understanding just what has happened but I agree with others, somehow you need to find a way to check out why she seems so distant. There could be underlying worries and pressures he has told no one about.

Yes you need to talk to her, it may well be a misunderstanding as tanith says. The longer it goes on the harder it will be to sort out. Don't be confrontational, it may be a simple mistake.

Just read your post 16.13. You say you are quick to say the wrong thing. Might you already have said something to upset her? Why not phone, avoid saying "the wrong thing" and just ask her if there's anything wrong, or whether you've offended her in some way, as you would hate that to be the case. I certainly wouldn't text.
