my daughter has a friend who dresses and looks like a 13 year old boy she isn't interested in womens clothes or makeup or anything "female" at all ,she's studying computer sciences at Uni ..she does however have a long term relationship with a man who is a fair bit older than her .She had need to state publicly that she is who SHE is and that people who know her accept and love her exactly how she is .Maybe if we,the public stopped being so "interested" in everybody's lives then people like her could just get on with hers in her own way without snide remarks and insults. She is a lovely person and has a heart of gold we love her for who she is
