Would you mention this to God's friend's mum

Went to pick up GD from school today. Noticed that there was some sort of after school sports activity going on which her friend was taking part in. Wondering what she was wearing (looked a bit skimpy) and my GD said she was doing it in her pants (I mean literally her knickers rather than shorts or anything) because she didn't have her PE kit with her. Should I mention this to her mum.?

Well I was suspicious from the first read although I must admit it was a God’s friend that made me open it
We’ll bins it is then mines tomorrow we have three, black green and blue black tomorrow blue and green next week it is hard to remember which is which I try to visualise putting it out then have a little peep at everyone else’s

Our bins are emptied first thing on a Monday morning. Wish we could recycle food waste here, not that we have much though!

Ooooh a trip to LA - count me in!

Oh and sod the bins I'm off to LA

MissAdventure Wed 22-Nov-17 17:29:13

A transatlantic bin liner? grin

Couldn’t the food waste just be tipped overboard to feed the marine life?

Elegran Wed 22-Nov-17 15:14:49

We could cross in a transatlantic liner every month or so. The bins would go in the hold - not wanted on voyage. Better put the food waste in a triple layer of poly bags (biodegradable of course)

Could we ask to be self-emptiers and take our own bins? I wouldn't mind if they paid.

Elegran Wed 22-Nov-17 13:47:10

It is a long way for them to come and empty my wheelie bins though. I think it would be more than three weeks between trips,

LA - one of my favourite places Elegran - make sure you take in the Warner Bros tour if you go.

Elegran Wed 22-Nov-17 13:33:49

If you go online to your LA you may be able to sign up to get an email each week to tell you what you are supposed to be doing.

MissAdventure Wed 22-Nov-17 13:17:14

I always wonder who the person is that knows what week it is? I always copy everyone else, and just as I get in the swing of it, along comes a bank holiday and disrupts it for the next month!

nanaK54 Wed 22-Nov-17 13:14:58

Always happy to discuss bins grin
Have put mine out today, for collection tomorrow
Grey - what I refer to as 'rubbish, rubbish' i.e. not recycling
Food bin
Brown - garden waste

Elegran Wed 22-Nov-17 12:49:24

We have so many bins I never know which it should be this week. One is every week, one every fortnight, one every three weeks, plus the bottles-and-jars box and the food waste bin. Just as well I don't drink much alcohol so the bottles-and-jars only goes out occasionally.

There is a printed calendar with all the collections on, but it is still not easy to work out. The other option is to wait until the neighbours have put theirs out and copy them, but I like to have mine out before it gets cold and dark so the neighbours are mnore likely to copy what I do (and get it wrong)

trisher Wed 22-Nov-17 12:45:22

Oh mines proper rubbish today. Recycling is next week.

Jalima1108 Wed 22-Nov-17 12:25:42

hmm

Knickers to that trisher
Bins got emptied yesterday
I'm going out grin

Bellanonna Wed 22-Nov-17 12:18:01

Guess he/she has got the message now Trisher. But for what it’s worth, mine’s tomorrow. That’s plastic and glass, plus food waste.

trisher Wed 22-Nov-17 12:11:41

You're probably right. But it amuses me to think of someone checking in regularly for tittilation and finding a discussion on bins grin

Bellanonna Wed 22-Nov-17 12:09:55

I don’t think it should keep going.

trisher Wed 22-Nov-17 11:51:12

The question now is if we should just shut this down or take it into the realms of far fetched debate. Personally I favour the latter so today is my bin day. Anyone else got Wednesdays?

POGS Wed 22-Nov-17 11:22:56

Actually I had not noticed the 01 addition so I hope my post @ 10.59 hasn't caused another poster upset because I did not include it.

Just to be sure , sorry if I have.

Bellanonna Wed 22-Nov-17 11:16:11

Me too, Elegran. I thought it was a name I recognised and hadn’t realised there was a slight difference. I also hadn’t taken on board that s/he had started that other thread. Oh Lord, enough is enough.

MissAdventure Wed 22-Nov-17 11:13:03

Yes, he is..

Elegran Wed 22-Nov-17 11:10:57

At first I thought I recognised the name as a longstanding poster, but on second thoughts the added 01 makes it a new or unfamiliar one. I hadn't connected it with the previous gym-in-knickers thread. Poster is harping on a bit, isnt she/he?

MissAdventure Wed 22-Nov-17 11:03:26

I can't imagine a gran being so interested in adolescent girls underwear. Ugh!

trisher Wed 22-Nov-17 11:01:39

But both were started by the same OP.
