I've just recalled working in the NHS and walking through the snow to work to find no patients so I have sort of given in and will wait until the morning. In the meantime I'm drowning out Mr C's broken record approach greyd by playing soothing music. Trouble is we have a son staying tonight who is worse than his Dad for 'it will be fine', like father and all that. Mr C was born at the top of a Welsh montain and so was very used to snowy roads, he forgets though that 50 years have passed. I shall set it aside until the alarm wakes us at 6am tomorrow when I would like to see large quantities of snow.
Hope someone wore that very handsome fox mask greyd, the alien is suitably alien like kitty, don't know what ours will be tomorrow, I could hope for well behaved but as that isn't likely perhaps something ladylike - no that isn't likely either. I will wait to be surprised.
I've also wondered about ann, I'm sure her son's presence will be helping but settling down difficulties won't be helped by nasty weather. I so hope there will be adequate support for her going forward.
Would you believe the filing is nearly done as are the accounts. In about an hour, if I get back to it now, I will feel very virtuous indeed, until the next post brings yet more paper.
Stay warm and safe everyone.
Well, that was a farce.........
