Apart from health and happiness for my loved ones, my 3 wishes would be:
* To become a grandmother
* To move to the seaside/countryside
* To be a size 14 again

Apart from health and happiness

* To travel to Australia
* To have my garden landscaped
* To have a beach hut

BlueBelle Sun 10-Jun-18 09:02:50

To have all my immediate family together (now dotted round the world)
To have my mum and dad back
To die before any of my kids or grandkids or before I go gaga

Anniebach Sun 10-Jun-18 09:04:35

To have a car again

To put on a stone in weight

To see New Quay,Cardiganshire again.

gillybob Sun 10-Jun-18 09:14:21

To win enough on the lottery for DH and I to give up work and for DD not to have to go back ( to work) so soon.

To visit Nashville

To get DGC into one of the schools close to their home .

Nannykay Sun 10-Jun-18 09:20:00

For my son to come back to me and let me be part of his and my granddaughters life.

To get my health back, at least be able to walk again.

If she gave me those two, I would give my third wish to someone else in need.

Teetime Sun 10-Jun-18 09:34:41

For my daughter to move nearer to me and see her and GS more often.

To find a cure for arthritis

For DH to get his hearing back.

LynneB59 Sun 10-Jun-18 09:37:43

An end to all religion

No animal cruelty anywhere in the world

No poverty anywhere.

kittylester Sun 10-Jun-18 09:42:04

Currently, but subject to change

The Idiot to disappear in a puff of smoke.

To be able to sing

To be a tall, willowy blonde.

annsixty Sun 10-Jun-18 09:49:06

To have my old ,funny, husband back.

To not be in pain all the time.

To also be a tall willowy blonde.

cornergran Sun 10-Jun-18 09:49:27

Also subject to change

To sleep for 8 hours every night

To have a head that isn’t foggy

To see one son smile again

DanniRae Sun 10-Jun-18 10:00:51

Thank you everyone for your three wishes but goodness me some of them have made me feel like crying sad

Juggernaut Sun 10-Jun-18 10:04:13

To be a size 12/14 again!
To be able to draw/paint!
Oh, this is going to sound so trite, but can I please have World Peace?

sodapop Sun 10-Jun-18 10:10:47

Feels a bit like the Miss World responses but of course we all want an end to war and poverty.
I would wish my family to be healthy and happy
Like BlueBelle I hope to die before I'm incapacitated or have dementia.
Good thought NannyKay to give the last wish to someone who needs it more than I do.
Think I have been fortunate all things considered in my life so I am thankful for that.

LynneB59 Sun 10-Jun-18 10:30:08

Just to be as shallow as most other people, I'd have:

to be a toned size 12

enough money to not have to work again (I've got 7 years until I can retire at 66)

To actually have some eyebrows, instead of having the daily chore of drawing them on!

henetha Sun 10-Jun-18 10:39:23

To be born into a normal family.
To have a daughter.
To be short and blonde.

I'd like my Fairy Godmother to grant me three superpowers

1. Shapeshifting. I can instantly transform my appearance to look like someone else! Famous, ordinary or even a creature such as a horse or a bird! I believe Maya from Space 1999 was able to do this and she was called a Metamorph!

2. Time travel. I can hop back in time and witness famous events. I would be invisible though so as not to come to any harm.

3. Invisibility. I could have such fun with this! I'd visit my vile cheating ex and sneak in ad move things around or slam doors so he thought there was a ghost or blame his tart so they argue! Mwha ha ha!

Or if that's a bit over the top, I'd choose

1. To have a beautiful singing voice. I'm tone deaf and sound dreadful.

2. To be beautiful. Shallow I know!

3. Greyhound racing to be abolished and no more animal cruelty or abuse worldwide ever again.

Oldwoman70 Sun 10-Jun-18 10:48:52

To have DH back again
To have the energy to do all the things I want to do
To own a private plane (and have the money to run it) in order that I can visit family in Australia whenever I want.

Willow500 Sun 10-Jun-18 10:50:35

For husband to be the size he was 20 years ago

Enough money to be able to share between sons so youngest could come back to the UK whenever they felt like it and so eldest could give up work.

Not to end up in care with dementia!

All rather selfish sad

Panache Sun 10-Jun-18 11:05:44

Apart from the usual wishing well for the world re peace, famine and crime etc

In reality (1) perhaps a nice caring family all around us would be a blessing
(2)
Improved health & strength for my DH and myself

(3).....a quick & painless sale of this property & a move to an apartment of choice.

ninathenana Sun 10-Jun-18 12:16:24

For all family to be healthy and happy. Which would mean DS working and leading a fulfilling life and DD to have a nice home and no money worries.
To be a size 12
A cure for dementia/cancer

Lynnebo Sun 10-Jun-18 16:24:15

To have a job I enjoy close to home which pays me enough to live on and have some left over.
To have confidence to be able to go out alone and try new things (been single for 20 years and lack of confidence has let me down so many times)
To never be a burden to my wonderful children

NanKate Sun 10-Jun-18 17:28:42

For my DS to remain in his home with his two young sons and my unfaithful DinL to leave them in peace.

For my DH and I to have at least 15 years more together in reasonable health.

For dear friend A not to be in perpetual pain from RA.

Cherrytree59 Sun 10-Jun-18 18:03:55

My first wish -- A happy future for my grandchildren
All three have mountain a to climb one way and another.

My 2nd wish would for both my children to have the strength and good humour to deal with the challenges (re above)

The last wish would be for both DH and I to spend a day with our dear departed.
In DH case his father and in my case my parents and grandparents.
There were so many questions that we failed to ask.
And just one hug ?

Menopaws Sun 10-Jun-18 18:09:00

Oh my goodness this thread has brought out many emotions but...
To have a grandson without life limiting issues
To have a husband ditto
To see more of my daughter in Australia
Great thread but heart rending for so many
