Oh dear, I think I may be going through an odd phase!

Evening all, and please bear with me, it might just be the heat!

Watching "Live At The Apollo" , why do I want to say with regard to Noel Fielding "Have that boy washed and brought to my tent!"

Actually, I would be quite happy if he was to pop round for a coffee and a muffin!

smile

DanniRae Sun 15-Jul-18 12:35:43

I am glad about that Eloethan but you can't have both........so you can have Lee and David is mine!! wink (Mind you David has a very attractive wife - Victoria Coren Mitchell - so I don't think I stand a chance........sad face)

Eloethan Sun 15-Jul-18 12:24:35

I think David Mitchell is nice too.

DanniRae Sun 15-Jul-18 12:07:32

Well that's fine Eloethan because I quite like his opposite on "Would I lie to you" - David Mitchell - he has amazing brown eyes! grin

Noel Fielding doesn't appeal to me at all. So far as comedians are concerned, I think Lee Mack is attractive, not because he has amazing good looks (though he looks fine) but because he has such an infectious sense of humour. I think that is a very attractive quality.

How could I have done that, I must have called him by the wrong name all the time he was visiting shock

annemac101 Sat 14-Jul-18 18:33:16

Another Russell Brand fan here. I couldn't listen to him talk for ever. I also love Phillip Scholfield and ...I'm hiding my face now....I quite like Richard Madely! ?

maryhoffman37 Sat 14-Jul-18 15:12:24

I'm sorry, ladies. If you can't get RUFUS Sewell's name right, you can't have him.

Bluecat Sat 14-Jul-18 13:41:32

Benedict Cumberbatch and Andrew Scott.....Holmes and Moriarty together. Yummy! I wouldn’t object if Dr Watson wanted to tag along. (And if I can’t have them, I’d like Cap’n Poldark, please.)

starbox Sat 14-Jul-18 11:55:23

Hmm...maybe (though he's awfully irritating on Bake Off). I used to find Freddie Mercury utterly charismatic. But I would have to put Andrew Graham-Dixon & Gareth Southgate (swoon!) at top of my current list!

Definitely Rufus Sewell or Martin Shaw for me too. Noel Fielding? I would have guessed that you were not his type, OP, though I could be wrong.

GillT57 Sat 14-Jul-18 09:49:54

marmight. Get in the queue for Martin Shaw. Shall use Noel Fielding as a warm up ??

Marmight Sat 14-Jul-18 08:40:16

Martin Shaw for me ?

maddy629 Sat 14-Jul-18 06:13:07

Sorry KatyK but I can't agree with you about Russell Brand, I wouldn't want to pass the time of day with him, he always looks like he needs a good wash.
Orlando Bloom has always rang my bell, especially in his Elven guise from Lord Of The Rings.

Sulis I’m with you re: Luke Pasqualino. As a teenager I did rather fancy two of the Walker Brothers.

Paul Newman has always been my second choice, after my DH. He was such a lovely man, and the fact that he was happily married for so many years didn't stop those lovely smiley eyes from making me go weak at the knees!

phoenix Fri 13-Jul-18 21:34:07

In my teens my first really serious boyfriend looked very much like Clint Eastwood? I actually still have photos of him blush

Deedaa Fri 13-Jul-18 21:23:00

I've currently got a thing about Andrew Scott. Blew me away when he burst upon us as Moriarty - but sadly he's gay! I always seem to pick the gay ones (as if I'd have any chance if they weren't grin )

Monkey63 Fri 13-Jul-18 20:15:23

Oh you little Minx

Jalima1108 Fri 13-Jul-18 17:10:56

I've just seen a picture of him phoenix
are you having a mid-life crisis shock

We're here for you .....

lemongrove Fri 13-Jul-18 17:06:12

Phoenix.....what are they putting in the water down your way? confused

JustALaugh Fri 13-Jul-18 16:48:18

Purplepoppies.... now you're talking! Real men!

JustALaugh Fri 13-Jul-18 16:47:43

I think you must be having a funny turn... I cannot stand the bloke. His appearance is odd, and I find him very unfunny (but if you like him, that's alright!)

MagicWriter2016 Fri 13-Jul-18 15:50:54

Oh no, Katyk, I always think Russell Brand needs a good bath and his hair washed lol!

Juliet27 Fri 13-Jul-18 15:29:24

I used to have a thing about Valentino Rossi in his much younger motor bike racing days when his hair was long and he looked wild, but maybe that’s because as a child I wanted to grow up to be an Indian squaw or a Romany gypsy....he looked the part.
