I have been watching the swallows giving the most amazing aerial display and whilst I have loved to see their restless enthusiasm for their forthcoming migration I am sad to think they will be gone very soon. 
I hsve decided to use the winter to get some nest boxes put up in the eaves ready for next year.
Just had to put on a cardigan!
