Knees are funny things, especially knees in their 60s . Mine can be fine for weeks on end and then I'll have a day when I can barely get up or down the stairs.
Hope you'll have a spring in your step again very soon

Thanks for the birthday messages folks, I write this surrounded by flowers - feel like I'm in a florists.

Yesterday I got back from a week long self-catering 'holiday' with all of my children/grandchildren and parents-in-law so I was taking in the acres of washing I'd hung out today when it happened, it felt as though something actually snapped, but my knee wasn't twisted at the time. It's fine until I move it! I'll give it two days then see my GP if there's no improvement.
