Was due to see my vascular surgeon yesterday, (doesn't that sound important?), Dr. Wong, a charming lady, but a message from her 'rooms' said she was poorly and see me next month.
I'd had a shower and donned fresh underwear just in case her examination of my legs might make an unexpected change of direction. So there I was all dressed up with nowhere to go.
I came home, got the sunlounger out (yes; it's getting warmer at last), poured a couple of drinks and laid there thinking "Why doesn't my dentist never ever get sick and cancel my appointment?" You'd think poking around in mouths all day would be a recipe for all sorts of problems. Apparently the little masks they wear might be good for catching bits of debris flying around, but not those nasty things called viruses.
Not a job I could do.
One of life's mysteries!
