Mine turned out to be polyps , I was rushed through the system just like you.
I had them removed in day surgery and tbe biopsies were fine.
It is absolutely fine to worry until you know.

I had scans and biopsies taken earlier in the year for exactly the same thing. It was nothing serious . Hope it all goes well for you today, as others have said the waiting is awful.
