So glad to hear from you Annie. Loneliness is a truly dreadful experience, so Thank Goodness for Gransnet and it's the Gransnetters. This is when Social Media works at it's best and the caring shines through.

Thank you x yes GransNet is my sole companion and yes user names but the real person shines through, no idea of height, hair colour etc but that isn’t important , it’s the caring, the sense of humour , worries, advice, these make the real person and there are such lovely real people here x

Yes, I agree. There are so many kind, thoughtful and helpful people on this site. Sometimes, things can get a bit heated or misunderstandings arise, but on the whole I think we are fundamentally a caring lot. ?

annie glad to see you back with us. We worry about you when you're missing. You said you had no idea of height hair colour etc of your virtual friends well I just thought I would mention that I'm a tall slender blond, with a fantastic figure, stunning features and natural grace (and have been known to exaggerate a bit..........well a lot actually ?)
