I balance on each leg and lean on the wall to do it with my shower sponge but periodically I do soak them in a bowl of warm water and try to give myself a pedicure. As I can't see properly or reach my toes the varnish part isn't much of a success
I bought a washing-up bowl just for my feet and sit and soak them until the water turns cold. It does a power of good to the feet as well as making the toe-nails easier to cut. Then I massage them when dry with Avon foot balm-------bliss !
I find it very hard to wash my feet and between my toes in the shower. I had a sort of sponge on a stick to do the job, but the sponge fell apart after about two uses. I have just bought a similar item as it was on offer and very cheap, but I do not hold out any hope that it will last very long!
