Gute Gesundheit! tchsmile

A late Happy Christmas I hope you have all done the tasks you need to do or arrived safely where you should be for a relaxed and merry Christmas. OH and I are spending the day with friends after visit from son and a visit to daughter. My day will be tinge with some sadness as my disabled daughter, with learning difficulties, is spending Christmas day on her own. She has turned down all invitations so carers will go in to help cook Christmas dinner and then its just her and cat. Still she is an adult and much loved. Have a lovely time.

I suspect you are right Maw.

We have been playing a virtual game between Man City and Man united with footie cards all over the floor which we tread on at our peril !

Happy Christmas Day Rufus. Hope you have polished up your dance shoes ready for our venture onto the dance floor at the virtual party. ??

Good Evening, Christmas Eve 3 minutes to "Good Morning" Christmas Day!
Countdown is on; 2.....1......"Merry Christmas!" Midnight and it's still 30+C; 35C later today and 37C for Boxing Day. Loving it, but poor Santa will be redder with all that clobber. Anyway, I've doubled the stockpile of coldies and now must away to hang my stocking and lay out his sherry and mince pies! tchgrin
Have a nice Christmas!

I've been up for hours after a disturbed night, popped out to local shops for a couple of last minute bits. Need to hoover round & clean bathroom.

Going to DD's tomorrow, all presents wrapped & ready to go. Hope the weather is better tomorrow, it's damp & grey here in the South West.

Morning Mick and All

Late call in from Sussex. Been going through football cards with elder grandson. About to go and play football in the park. I wonder if I will be designated the Mascot again ?

dragonfly46 Mon 24-Dec-18 10:47:08

Anyone heard from Gillybob?

Mapleleaf Mon 24-Dec-18 10:46:51

Good morning everyone.
Been up ages, waiting for meat delivery - still waiting, but I'm sure it will be here soon....
Done some other pottering jobs, making pastry, taking things out of the freezer to defrost, last bit of ironing, etc.
Just having a coffee break then will go and roll out the pastry and make the mince pies.
It's a brighter day today, a bit frosty in the air but more festive than of late.
Happy Christmas ? to you all. tchsmile

Good morning GNs from Morecambe Bay, where there's a crisp frost and stunningly bright sunshine. I'm even thinking of hanging out washing....

Good morning all from a cold and frosty Stockport.
Just popped in to wish all Gn'ers a very Happy Christmas.
May it be all you want it to be.

Good morning Christmas Eve Michael, Annie and all GN’s, from a very mild and calm Berks. I was out early, for me that is, as I had a fasting blood test. Oh how I missed my morning cuppa, but am OK now, after two brew brew
I put a load in the washing machine before I went out, and what presented itself to me on my return, a lone sock on the stairs. Why/ how, does one always escape?
Not a lot to do today, so will try and finish my knitting, just the sewing up to do. Then sort out, clothes wise, what to take to DD for Christmas and Boxing Day.
Have a peaceful day and a meaningful Christmas one and all.

gma Mon 24-Dec-18 09:33:55

Patches of blue sky here this morning after very wet Sunday! Busy cooking sausage rolls etc to take with us tomorrow and Boxing Day to family gatherings.
Have a peaceful Christmas everyone, don’t get stressed , it will all be fine??????
“All shall be well, all shall be well and all manner of things shall be well” thanks to Mother Julian
Looking forward to 2019!,,,,,

Good Christmas Eve Morning to everyone from a grey Bournemouth. Wish everyone a happy Christmas and a Healthy New year. tchsmile

Good morning all. I was up at 8, went to my son's place to feed his cat (he's back later today), did a Zumba class, and put the washing machine on. I'm now going to have a shower, do some ironing, do the vacuuming and have a quiet day until the family get-together at our local for drinks tonight...

TerriBull Mon 24-Dec-18 09:16:27

Good morning from a surprisingly mild south east, it's certainly not going to be a white Christmas here.

Off to do a very last minute shop for some overlooked minor bits and pieces this morning.

Early evening we go with extended family to carols and Christmas children's mass and then back to their house for drinks, just one, clear head need for tomorrow and nibbles.

Have a good day everyone wherever you may be.

MawBroon Mon 24-Dec-18 09:14:48

Good morning all and a very happy Christmas to you from N Bucks where it seems to have stopped raining at last.

aggie Mon 24-Dec-18 09:10:16

Morning all from a cold foggy NI , gosh , that fog , visitors nearly stayed over last night !
