I love how efficient they are , that they offer delivery information so you're not tied to the house for 12 hours waiting but they do one thing ( in common with a lot of other white goods sellers) that drives me nuts !!!
They rang me last night to confirm todays delivery and tried to sell me extended warranty.
All well and good so far but WHY do I have to start paying for that extended warranty during the year I have a manufacturers warranty????
I'm covered, I need nothing else until that year or 2 year warranty is up by which time , judging on last nights discussion I would have paid £100 for absolutely nothing.
Am I missing something here or is this just another way of extracting money from the customer?
I did chuckle when she mentioned it would cover me for any damage whilst they were delivering etc - I pointed out if it got damaged they would simply take it straight back and deliver me an undamaged one... seems like she hadn't thought of that!!
