My step-family were there stepping over bodies as they exited the foyer and memories of it stayed for ages, it was such a heartbreaking scene for them. They were in a state of hysteria as they ran around the area looking for their car.

I think that this is a very difficult case. I think also the newspapers are being a bit disingenuous in the way they are covering the things she says.

She lives in a refugee camp for those who have fled the ISIS strongholds - there are bound to be ISIS fighters living among them - what do you think would happen to her and her baby if she spoke out strongly against ISIS? I think you must take what she says publicly while she is living in unsafe, dangerous conditions with a large pinch of salt. Not to mention the effects of Stockholm syndrome on such a young person.

The other thing that strikes me is if this was a teenager that had been groomed to join a violent gang or a violent cult at 15 then there would be a lot of support for rehabilitation and de-programming.

She will be well aware of the resistance to her returning to UK but has stated she wants her child to be raised here. If her main concern is for her child perhaps she could hand the baby to her parents, she could then either remain where she is until she has shown she is not a threat or she could apply to go to a country which operates under Islamic law - which she has said she enjoyed living under.

If you’d bothered to RTFT you’d have had your answer but at the moment, people here and elsewhere are ‘asking’ inflammatory questions the answers to which are easily available but who on earth would want to be well informed when they could stir up hatred and encourage the mob?
