`Afternoon all; and as is usual in our kitchen so many things are changing in no time at all.............the best news has to be another grandchild for you and your clan Maw..........welcome little one and may your life be truly enriched.A bundle of joy for sure.
On the down side a real mishap in the Soop household but like Ann has said,I am not altogether surprised as these days, apart from the operation itself, the patient has to be nurse herself, dealing with these rather scary occasions........ when quite frankly a Hospital situation should be the setting for those first early days......when inevitably these mishaps oft occur.
However being home has enormous benefits and you certainly solved and sorted out the issue as I m know you would Soop!
No more jigging allowed though!!!
The party will follow in due course! That is a promise!
I for one think it is brave and educational knowing you are going to enlighten us all about exactly how an altzeimers patient copes and lives from day to day Izabella........you are the right person for that job, with your humour and eloquent turn of phrase,it really will be of enormous help to many.........and a learning curve for each one of us.
It will help us to help others and so will benefit so very many overall.
But let it be only as much as you feel happy in sharing.
I promise to laugh with you, but probably knowing how soft I can be........I shall also shed some tears!
Whilst deary me it sounds as if your poor man is coming out in sympathy and showing it in rather a dramatic show of blood!
Hope all is now calm and equilibrium restored to your household! You two certainly believe in doing things in dramatic fashion!!
Totally understanding how your son must feel Callgirl ......this is quite a momentous start to his treatments which he will feel less nervous, once he gets accustomed to the routine hopefully, and let us fervently hope it really does serve him well.
I can well imagine you will yourself be on tenderhooks awaiting to hear the daily outcome.
So sorry to hear you are now low with your own health issues Synonymous,it is again a case of the unfairness of life.
At least there seems to be some uplifting news regarding your dear man and his forthcoming amputation.Time these things got going because with Spring right on the horizon........ what a great time to recover and get the prothesis working by summertime.Seems he is really taking all this on board mentally and that will be such a boon.
Sending love and some
to cheer you up hoping you will soon be feeling more your lovely self.
Feeling your pains Corner and just hoping that many of your issues can be resolved to make life far easier yet again.Pain truly does take away all quality of life.
These biopsies are beginning to come too frequently where your good man is concerned Kitty.......just hoping eventually things do settle down, and he will be feeling much improved. These Hospital appointments are so draining in themselves too.......so do take it nice and easy when you can.
Of course you would speak up for the name Hannah Doodle and with good cause, and I can well understand your DGD is the apple of your eyes,a great joy. These names which were once very familiar are being firmly restored too.
My word N & G you must own some acreage what with the amount of building work both bnewly erected and more to follow!!!
Life is certainly not dull at your place!
I bet you get lost now and again or do you communicate by walkie talkies??
Love your photos too.
Great photo too GreyD
What is it with you lot???? buying in these sausage rolls and Cornish pasties ..........both which really make my mouth water .............and I have a great desire for a few hearty bites of both!!
The feed back from our Surrey house viewers was good but very non committal,so no great panic there.
We soldier on.
Whilst awaiting for suitable Sheltered Housing we keep our eye on the local market, very little coming on this year as yet, however a cute little 2 bed bungalow in rather a pleasant and central spot in our town came onto the Market over the weekend.
On our way back from my usual Hospital visit we took a peek and unfortunately it has a rather lot of rather steep steps leading up to it........thinking ahead it would not easily accommodate a wheelchair or a mobility scooter......and with the both of us heading in that direction it was decided that it just could not be “the on e”
So back to the drawing board!!
Time I was not here in my favourite spot ...........so I will bid you all a fond farewell, hoping the weather, your health and family issues are all being kind..........with the week ahead looking ever hopeful.
Enjoy!
