Apropos a fairly recent thread about girls/ladies playing sports I expect you have noticed a current news debate about a Tanya Harris, playing Aussie Rules footy. There's a magnificent photo of her executing a wonderful goal in a recent girls match. It's all over the media here and possibly world-wide. Unfortunately it has attracted obscene comment from "trolls"; those who detest the very idea of females playing "mens"sport and misogynists generally. It's a beautiful picture of a superbly fit female athlete doing what she does best and will become an icon for the sport.
