Urmstongran the Pendletons twicer was a lovely iced lolly half ice and half ice-cream in different flavours. Maybe just a Northwest advert ?

One that sprang into my head this morning was the jingle for Robertson’s marmalade “Look for the golly, the golly on the jar!” Not at all pc now, but I used to collect the gollies. Hated the marmalade but my dad liked it.
