Your post brought back lots of memories gulliver. I was an RAF wife and we too had new windows installed during the winter months-twice!. I particularly remember marching out of one quarter having spent ages cleaning the cooker to the exacting standards required and when DH did the march out( wives not allowed) he was told the cooker would be removed that day and a new one installed- grrr..We also had a shower put in once which was quite unusual in quarters but after all the mess of having it done were told we couldn’t use it as the water pressure wasn’t good enough- happy days!?
So Harry and family are coming back!

because you sound very stressed. My anxiety would go up to eleven out of 10 if I had to have workers in my home unwillingly. I think cornergran suggestion to try to contact the same lady who was helpful to you previously is a good idea
