I think not.
Reading the headlines this morning I question the saying that no news is good news, trouble is that we've been bombarded with bad news for decades.
Today's news reads no better.
Apart from the Strictly header, we have the Begum woman getting UK legal aid to assist her appeal against the removal of her UK citizenship (which would run into tens if not hundreds of thousands of pounds) but, more important, is the law being debated re children accessing the internet.
We may, in future, have to give out our passport and/or bank card details every time we access a different website, an absolutely unacceptable scenario in most people's view I would think.
Crazy ideas.

I don’t know about the internet debacle but if shamima begum gets legal aid to try and return to a country she is no longer a citizen of!! A country she shunned, turned her back on and joined a ‘state’ that wants to destroy us. That has killed many british people here and abroad I think we may as well pack up our democracy and admit defeat.,
