... when he wasn't busy saving the planet.

(In my front garden).

Sure do. Goes so quickly.

I know gonegirl. We have to enjoy every minute with them, don’t we?

Gonegirl Wed 24-Apr-19 13:25:01

I love those pics where they look so proud of their achievements. Make me well up a bit. I've got one in particular of elder GS like that ja. Sigh! (for times past)

He loves sticks gd!
He actually has very good manual dexterity & I’m hoping he will become a master craftsman at something!

Greyduster Wed 24-Apr-19 11:06:53

Janea the thing about little boys who whittle sticks is that they grow up into big boys who whittle sticks, like my son, who is fifty two this weekend!! He brought his latest creations to show me recently. Your grandson looks very at home with his stick?!

Sounds like a lovely day all round BradfordLass.

Adorable every one. Mine went to the Auckland Museum with two of his step-sibling who live down south so have never see the museum.

I spent the day with my son, chatting, laughing, eating, discussing everything from Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, a subject we are both very interested in - to some of the cases on Gransnet which make me sad but very grateful at the same time.

Picture is Erica, the lifelike robot

Apparently my 2 little grandson had an egg hunt in NZ which was fun but then one of their cats decided he wanted to join in and brought a dead rat to the party grin

Gonegirl Tue 23-Apr-19 16:15:31

Oh now, that's just so sweet! smile

Gonegirl Tue 23-Apr-19 16:09:35

merlot I did wonder about getting him to do a bit of tree surgery whilst he was at it. Probably a good thing I didn't.

Cherrytree59 Tue 23-Apr-19 16:08:28

Easter egg hunt in the morning
Then in afternoon a Super-soaker fight in our garden.
Children and adults soaked to the skin.
Grandad won.
Only because he decided to turn on the hosepipe. ?

ginny Tue 23-Apr-19 16:00:09

My DGS2 had all the family running around our campsite being robot powered.

DanniRae Tue 23-Apr-19 15:41:34

Thank you Gonegirl !! smile

lemongrove Tue 23-Apr-19 14:42:20

Glad he was alright Gonegirl boys and trees eh?
My DGC were active too.....on egg hunts in the garden, even the teenager ( was outraged when I suggested he may be a bit old for it.) grin

merlotgran Tue 23-Apr-19 14:40:53

At least he wasn't waving one of those one handed chainsaws that lumberjacks like to terrify everyone with. shock

Callistemon Tue 23-Apr-19 14:25:54

You can hire him out for rescuing daft cats that get stuck up trees!
My darlings were climbing up a rope triangle this morning and will be zip-wiring later today after Grandad has had his snooze.

Gonegirl Tue 23-Apr-19 13:40:38

Best wished for the new baby DanniRae. smile

Gonegirl Tue 23-Apr-19 13:39:05

Oh. my. God!!! grin

No - it's climbing gear.

DanniRae Tue 23-Apr-19 13:35:45

My goodness I'm with lemongrove - I thought he was hanging too. It gave me quite a shock. I am delighted that he is ok!

My darling grandson is yet to be born - but I spent a lot of time with his mum and dad over Easter. I can't wait to meet him in a few weeks time grin
