My old 1910 hand crank Singer sat in the garage, unloved for 30 years. When I wanted it for GDs to learn some sewing, it wouldn’t move.
I sprayed it with WD40 and left it several days, then everything moved beautifully. A thorough clean up and it was as good as new!
HOWEVER, there’s no way it use WD 40 on a modern machine. Stick to the recommended oil.
Last weekend, in Rutland, the first statue in Britain of the late Elizabeth II was unveiled.
