Someone, think it was Elvive, asked where she had disappeared to. I didn't read any further, but I've no doubt a few opinions were expressed. (I reckon she's been banned (the buggers))

Except that someone was missed recently and it turned out she was ill but has now returned,

I don't get it, I don't post for a couple of weeks but nobody send the search party out for me (sticks lower lip out)

I am with you sassenach512, I am a very regular poster, but I went on holiday for a whole week without posting and no one enquired after me.

Possibly they were just glad to have the space without me.

I posted on the original thread this morning. Elvive had wondered where she was.

I said that on a thread I had genuinely asked if she was alright as (a) her language was pretty ripe and (b) she was furious when another poster (can’t remember who) had responded to her snippy post saying “I feel sorrry for your grandchildren”.

I know she is erudite and opinionated and has in the past stuck up for herself quite heatedly but on the occasion in question, I was concerned about her as her response to someone had seemed (to me at least) way over the top.

Anyway I hope all is well and she is okay.

I suppose it’s nice to be missed after a day or two of not posting.

Like you MOnica I’m sure I could disappear without my absence being noted.

As I said on the original thread this morning, she may just be on holiday or taking a break. Why not?

If it's any consolation MOnica I wondered where you'd gone, but then I (reasonably) thought you'd just had a break, I don't understand all these rumpled feathers if maryeliza has had a trouncing Urmstongran, she's probably off licking her wounds is all, no doubt she'll be back when the fallout clears

MOnica I disappear for weeks on end so how would I know if anyone had missed me? You could start lots of threads about whether I had left or not buy I wouldn't see them

well I for one hope she is ok and will be back, I didn't always agree with her, but I could understand her frustrations at times and did grin at her cussing!
