I don't believe it should be free for all pensioners so I'm not signing.

If the BBC were really struggling to remain viable, then it would have been entirely different but when you read about the likes of Lineker with his £1.76 million then it somehow doesn't ring true. Other huge salaries paid out also beggars belief.
Why don't they advertise like ITV do ?

One argument which has a little validity is that if folk realise that free licences will still be available to those on Pension Credit, then there will be increased uptake of PC.
Recipients of PC would benefit from all the other associated benefits.
Since bus passes are not currently up for grabs, I have doubts about conflating the two issues in one petition.
Best way is to add all pensioners' add-ons to the basic pension so that those who don't need them will repay them as income tax.

Another one not signing we and many of our our friends have a car each why do we need free bus travel? Those receiving pension credit ofcourse, don't get me started on winter fuel allowance!!
