Good morning from a dry but as yet not sunny NE.
Yesterday temperature reached 22 but there was still a cool wind. My delivery arrived at 12.30 which still left us time to have lunch out.
DH is going to take my sister shopping this morning so she can fill her fridge and cupboards for her three week stay.
We are travelling to GD's school to see the school play Mary Poppins and then doing childcare until parents return after work. Eldest GD breaks up today, she gets an eight week break but works 8.30 until 4pm every day.

a late good morning to all ....I am such a late riser, that by the time I get on this thread everyone has gone about their business. Anyway, good morning to all and enjoy the day. My friend is visiting from India. I've taken her almost everywhere there is to see. Today she is going to Pembroke to stay with her cousin for a few days.

Good morning from a dreich, grey Aberdeenshire. Still waiting for summer to arrive, it's been a Madam Butterfly season...one fine day. Mr Sky man came yesterday and installed my Sky Q box, after a month with no TV...and there's still nothing worth watching!
Have a friend coming for lunch and a GP appointment, so I better shift my ass.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all

Everyone seems in good heart which is good to read..

Hope you got on OK yesterday gilly your post seems happy enough so I assume you did?

Cloudy but warm on South Downs. The forecast is for warm and sunny.

Enjoyed the play yesterday. Mums today. She has COPD (well you’ve got to expect something at 100 haven’t you) and this high pollen isn’t helping, so Dr. Given her steroids which are helping.

Hi everyone from suny hot Godalming.
I had a lovely relaxing time at the hairdressers yesterday and arrived home after my evening with friends with 2 baskets of goodies, one filled with fruit n veg, the other with cheeses, bread and jams. Lucky me.
Up at 6 to water plants and run. I'll have yogurt, granola, raspberries, blueberries and banana for brekkie next.
I might go for a bike ride along the canal later and feed the ducks.
Being retired is wonderful as you can entirely please yourself.
Hope you all have a happy day and brew+cupcake for anyone feeling a bit low. Take care...grin

Morning all,
It’s a lovely one here today, sunshine & light cloud with gentle breeze.
Been up with lark having been disturbed by an early morning phone call - had been in a lovely sleep, too! Oh well, not to worry.
Need to pop into town later if I feel like it to collect a parcel, though it could wait until tomorrow.
Hope everyone has a good day. ?

21 degrees already.
Might go to to Guildford lido this afternoon instead of a bike ride.
View from my bedroom window-seat.

Morning all from a very sunny Devon, 24C blue with a bit of whispy cloud. I've a busy afternoon, re-cyclying centre, JobCentrePlus for 6 months review & Hairdressers.

Have a lovely day whatever you're doing

Johno Fri 05-Jul-19 06:33:12
Good morning from DPRK - I soon go to bed from long day in factory - 18 hours. Today is my payment day

Why are you taking the proverbial from this harmless and friendly thread JohnO?
Not particularly amusing - you may “LOL” but I am agog with indifference.

Marydoll Fri 05-Jul-19 12:28:10

Maw, have you not realised that Johno must be a very important person in North Korea?
Only government officials with special permission have internet access.
Could Johno be Kim Jong-un himself, pretending to be one of the proletariat??

MawBroonsback Fri 05-Jul-19 12:36:52

Oh dear, my card will presumably be marked now ?????

Feelingmyage55 Fri 05-Jul-19 12:39:53

maw, marydoll” Does *johno know about Grandads’ shed???

Marydoll Fri 05-Jul-19 12:40:22

It's a pity that some people take great pleasure in mocking others. sad
This thread and Soops Kitchen kitchen are about the only threads on GN where people feel they can post without worrying about how other posters may respond.
I too am not amused by your post, Johno.

Feelingmyage55 Fri 05-Jul-19 12:41:50

I agree “marydoll”.

MawBroonsback Fri 05-Jul-19 12:45:33

Thank you GNHQ for deleting the silly, mocking and ultimately unfunny post in question.

Is it school holidays yet then?

Mapleleaf Fri 05-Jul-19 12:50:08

I think the best thing really is not to respond in any way to his/her posts.

sazz1 Fri 05-Jul-19 13:21:38

Very warm here in South Devon. Relaxing in the caravan this weekend before an endless round of appointments kicks in next week.

Rufus2 Fri 05-Jul-19 14:57:50

have you not realised that Johno must be a very important person in North Korea?
Wakey, wakey! It's a spoof! Probably a nutter living in a backstreet in the Midlands! Ignore! grin

Marydoll Fri 05-Jul-19 15:04:13

My post was "Tongue in cheek", Rufus. I do not appreciate your patronising, "Wakey, wakey" comment. We are not idiots.
I wish there was an exasperated icon.
