I can't believe Gabriella's post got deleted! shock grin

Must admit I have really got off them since we taxpayers paid millions to upgrade their house yet they want to call the shots where the public are concerned .

???

merlotgran Sun 07-Jul-19 13:33:18

DH wasn't wearing his glasses and thought they'd invited Monty Don! grin

Would people think it better if the couple refused to allow anybody who was not photogenic to be included? The two sisters of Harry's mother are his aunts. I hope nobody is ever so rude about members of your family.

Gonegirl Sun 07-Jul-19 12:20:40

It's that hat.

Gonegirl Sun 07-Jul-19 12:20:01

Now that is bitchy. But I had thought similar (but not so rudely)

Penny Junors piece in the Sunday Times today hits the nail on the head in a very respectful way.

He's a nicer looking baby than his dad was. My thoughts.

JenniferEccles Sun 07-Jul-19 08:41:42

All that speculation about whether he would have ginger or black frizzy hair and now we have the answer- he hasn’t any at all yet!

BlueBelle Sat 06-Jul-19 20:08:14

You see what your looking for

Alima Sat 06-Jul-19 19:38:56

Pittcity, why is Shirl in the background? Well spotted, ha, ha.

How relaxed everyone looks

merlotgran Sat 06-Jul-19 18:57:55

The Queen wasn't at Louis' christening either, Grandma70s

I read somewhere that the real reason is because she doesn't want to attend close family occasions without Prince Philip.

Grandma70s Sat 06-Jul-19 18:42:01

I thought it old-fashioned to take husband’s name when I married in 1968! I did, though, because it was much easier to spell than mine. My DIL hasn’t.

Am I alone in thinking it’s a bit odd the Queen wasn’t there? Diary clash, apparently. I’d have thought they would consult the Queen first about the date. Must check whether she went to all of William and Kate’s children’s christenings.

Beautiful picture beautiful baby and a lovely young couple I hope they are very happy with that little bundle of joy

paddyann Sat 06-Jul-19 18:27:56

MOST young women I know prefer to be known by their maiden names .Its considered very old fashioned to take your husbands name after marriage ,maybe thats all there is to it

Anniebach Sat 06-Jul-19 18:10:22

I am not being mean, the gazing is naff, Harry gazes at the baby whilst she gazes at Harry, the baby is beautiful

Gonegirl Sat 06-Jul-19 17:49:37

No it isn't. Don't be mean. It's a very happy photo. How could it not be with that little baby as the centre of attention?

Callistemon Sat 06-Jul-19 17:48:40

Ahhh, we had one taken like that with DGS smile

but it wasn't in the msm.

Anniebach Sat 06-Jul-19 17:46:09

Not a happy baptism photograph, and the ‘gazing photograph ‘ is naff

Callistemon Sat 06-Jul-19 17:42:07

Why do the press keep calling the Duchess of Cambridge 'Kate Middleton'?
And the Duchess of Sussex 'Meghan Markle'?

I know it's The Sun, perhaps they missed the news about their marriages, but I think other msm do it too.

Pittcity Sat 06-Jul-19 17:23:22

Lovely that they were included though.
