Trisher No family should be /cannot be blamed for the circumstances they are born into, it is ridiculous to say otherwise. In every family Some members are positive, some negative some a bit of both , some do good , some do not, perhaps the time will come when Our country will become republic or communist , I know which system I would prefer, it’s not right but there will never be equality in this Country or any other Country or indeed the World .but at least The current RF do work with & for charities. And That IMO is a good thing,

Actually, the number of RF members who receive money from the Queen via the taxpayer to carry out state and charity duties on her behalf has gone down considerably in recent years.

Jabberwok ^ No one can help the family they're born into^ I can't think of a single person or family that would be used as an excuse for except the RF. The rest of us are supposed to work hard, make our way in the world and change things. I'd have more respect for them if some of them walked away and made their own lives. As it is they are like a tapeworm, growing bigger and demanding more.

DH and I often hold hands . What is the problem? It doesn't affect anyone else. I am shocked at the nastiness directed at Harry and Megan. Whatever they do they cannot win! Just leave them alone to get on with their lives.

Hatred is a corrosive and to be avoided where possible. For me to hate someone or thing it has to be on a par with Hitler or the perpetrators of Nazi Germany. I don't think that the RF come anywhere near justifying hatred, however much you may disapprove of them. No one can help the family they're born into, and to hate people for that reason alone is in my mind quite pathetic!

A smile, a glance shared can certainly show affection , for the couple concerned , this is what matters not public displays, in my opinion.

After 36 years together Mr. Gravy and I nearly always hold hands, and if I am wearing “high heels” I hold onto his arm as if my life depends on it (which after breaking my foot and ankle last summer it probably does!!)

There is no denying that there IS lots of racism about MM about. I have not seen any on this thread. There isnt anything inheritantly racist about finding their cryptic titilating and teasing distasteful!

If anything I think M is too good for H. He decided to pick a sensible girl and play at being a sensible adult for a change but it didnt last very long did it, he already seems to be "kicking back" against the dutiful mature life he thought he was ready for!

She seems lot nicer and more mature than Harry... his usual type seem like spoilt rich kid brats! ...
