Last Thursday my younger daughter cut my hair, fooling around she took a photograph of us , she was hugging me and we were laughing .

She just sent me a mail with the photograph saying ‘look who got in it ‘, right behind us was a photograph of my elder daughter, so clear, so again ‘ the three of us’

Sorry to post about it but it made me feel so happy and I often moan here ?

Ok. Even I'm welling up now. And that doesn't happen very often.

How lovely that a simple "accident" can bring you so much happiness.

Oh annie that is beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful moment.

Thank you all x

Because my daughters were so young when their father died it was until they married, the three of us, l have so many photographs of us, when we went on holiday or off for a day
I would ask someone to use my camera for a photograph of ‘the three of us’, the photograph I received this morning instantly brought the feeling it is still the same even though
my elder daughter is dead , our love is as it always was

What a lovely happenstance, Annie! No wonder it made you happy! I would not trust my DD to cut my hair - she would probably get her own back for all the times I cut hers!

That is so true Annie it is the little things which bring us most pleasure. I am constantly these days using those moments to keep me going and surprisingly they are occurring more and more.

How lovely, Anniebach, the three of you together - it is serendipity! smile

I hope your hair looks nice, too
This reminded me that I used to wash and set my mum's hair weekly (always the same style, like the Queen) but never cut it, perhaps she didn't trust me to get it right

Anniebach Wed 10-Jul-19 17:53:21

Love the word ‘serendipity ‘, Callistemon , yes it is
