Still not able to do any gardening (bashed ribs), which is driving me mad - it’s a jungle out there! But it smells delightful - honeysuckle, sweet peas, lilies and jasmine.......

My idea of Heaven, how fabulous. Never mind about the gardening just take in natures best perfumes.

Not a mess but beautiful. (Am I the only one who thinks that grin written in square brackets is rather scary, bit like a clown).

Lisagran Mon 22-Jul-19 08:59:32

Sorry Alima - don’t know why the grin emoji didn’t appear - didn’t mean to scare you!

Beautiful! 😊

Lisagran, you can send your messy jungle to me any time you like! I love a cottage type garden, the less I have to do, the better. Love pottering, and dabbling, nothing serious.

I love it also but I'm afraid the nettles and docks are screening the foxgloves in my garden and I have no cracked ribs. That sounds very sore.
I love sweet peas. I think they are my favourite perfume.

Scribbles Mon 22-Jul-19 12:31:12

Lovely! And those sweet peas are glorious colours.👍

Oh Lisagran
Please tell me what those gorgeous purple flowers are.
Thank you.

GabriellaG54 Mon 22-Jul-19 16:25:53

The purple and red ones in the first photo...grin

Nice Lisa scented flowers are what gardens are all about, forget the weeds!

SparklyGrandma Mon 22-Jul-19 17:13:17

Looks gorgeous, all those colours Lisagran

Lisagran Mon 22-Jul-19 18:01:48

They’re sweet peas Gabriella

Lisagran Mon 22-Jul-19 18:08:37

They’re called Cupani and they smell beautiful!

GabriellaG54 Mon 22-Jul-19 18:33:19

Thank you
Your garden looks beautiful. I'm not really a fan of rigorously organised gardens. Yours looks delightful.
I shall buy some of those seeds.

Lisagran Mon 22-Jul-19 19:25:01

Thank you Gabriella

It's HUGE. Is it right down to the trees at the top of the picture? Wow!

Lisagran Mon 22-Jul-19 21:44:25

No, that’s the field that we’re lucky enough that back onto. Our garden only goes as far as this.....(pic). We downsized a few years ago from a house that had a massive garden, so this is tiny for me - hence packing stuff in!

It looks wonderful and everything is in flower at once!
I've been weeding the grass out of the lavender. A job I find quite therapeutic - on a kneeler to save the old knees.

J52 Tue 23-Jul-19 08:11:55

Beautiful, my style of gardening, pack it all in. I can’t bear any bare soil.
I hope the ribs are on the mend. Meanwhile sit back and enjoy your lovely garden.

It looks gorgeous, Lisagran. Hasn't everything seemed extra lush this year?
