Thanks Gilly! I've had to cancel two holidays this year and this may be our last visit to Rome, due to my health problems.
Rome is where I belong, I should have been born an Italian,
this should be our 33rd visit!
I can't explain it, but I just feel at home there and we have become friends with the hotel manager and his family. Also the (rather reserved), owner of our local restaurant has taken us under his wing, we are treated like royalty.
I just need to see it one more time, Now I'm becoming maudlin!!
