Looks like the Daily Mail is being sued by them regarding a private letter from the Duchess to her estranged father.

Who is behind the letter being shown to the paper? An unhappy member of their staff? Or Mr. Markle maybe?

Gonegirl, Merlotgran, GrannyGravy …. I haven't seen the pics of H and M holding their baby, but could it be because they don't want unsolicited photos appearing in the press of little Archie?

merlotgran Tue 15-Oct-19 18:47:17

Just an observation, Iam.

merlotgran Tue 15-Oct-19 18:47:58

This wasn't unsolicited. They knew the cameras were there.

Iam64 Tue 15-Oct-19 18:50:50

Of course they knew the cameras were there

Gonegirl Tue 15-Oct-19 18:55:20

It's very sweet. They do love that baby. smile

Iam64 Tue 15-Oct-19 18:59:03

Gonegirl, I agree, they do love that baby.
The couple aren't everyone's cup of tea. I'm amazed at the way I tend to come to their defence, as a young woman I was definitely anti monarchy but hey ho, I'm no longer young. I do hope these two stay the course together, have another much loved baby and live as happily ever after as the rest of us manage

H’mm, don’t wish to start any rumours, but looking at that picture, you don’t think maybe baby number 2 is on the way?
?

GrannyGravy13 Tue 15-Oct-19 20:16:59

calendargirl I think she has just enjoyed her pregnancy and her newborn as opposed to the "celebrity starvation postnatal diet".

Hats off to her for not hiding her post pregnancy "mummy tummy" ???

katie1 Tue 15-Oct-19 20:26:36

Calendar girl, I think it is the post baby bump that hasn't gone yet. I thought she would have been keen to regain her seemingly slim figure.

Iam64 Tue 15-Oct-19 20:46:06

Meghan can't get it right can she? It's clear from photographs that she gained weight during her pregnancy and hasn't yet lost it.
Well said GrannyGravy13 , hats off to her for not hiding her post pregnancy figure.

grapefruitpip Tue 15-Oct-19 20:53:48

Bravo, a normal reaction to growing another human being inside your tummy.

Calendargirl Tue 15-Oct-19 22:09:44

I wasn’t meaning to pick on Meghan if she hasn’t lost her post pregnancy weight, I honestly wondered if they plan on having two children really close together, hence my comment.

Gonegirl Tue 15-Oct-19 22:18:42

I would think she's still breastfeeding Archie. Last thing she needs is to go on a diet.

merlotgran Tue 15-Oct-19 22:24:20

What about the four days when she went to New York to watch Serena Williams play tennis?

merlotgran Tue 15-Oct-19 22:24:39

If she was breast feeding, I mean.

Gonegirl Tue 15-Oct-19 22:27:33

Hmm. Not sure.....

It just seems odd she wouldn't breastfeed in this day and age.

Gonegirl Tue 15-Oct-19 22:28:06

Wet nurse?!

Gonegirl Tue 15-Oct-19 22:28:29

Only joking!

Calendargirl Tue 15-Oct-19 22:30:02

Perhaps she has given up on the breastfeeding.

Anniebach Tue 15-Oct-19 22:31:21

Expressing the milk, ouch

merlotgran Tue 15-Oct-19 22:33:32

Apparently (according to google) expressed milk keeps in the fridge for four days.

But you couldn't make a last minute decision to go away could you?

Or.....maybe she expressed it over there and sent it back in a private plane? shock

#onlyjoking

Gonegirl Tue 15-Oct-19 22:37:43

She did say something like "time for Archie's feed" when Shen she left New York. She would probably have an electric pump.

maddyone Wed 16-Oct-19 11:14:52

My daughter had an electric pump, very easy to use. She expressed as she had twins, easier for someone else to help with feeds. It’s more than possible that Meghan had expressed more milk than she needed and froze it, then it keeps for six months. She would have had to express whilst she was in America though, otherwise she’d have been very uncomfortable and possibly started to dry the milk up. Then again, maybe she’d moved Archie on to formula by then. It’s really not our business.

Callistemon Sat 19-Oct-19 05:10:14

DIL had to go away for two days when DGD2 was small and left enough expressed milk so that DS and I could feed her mum's milk.

Some women have so much milk they donate it to milk banks for premature babies in hospital.

Callistemon Sat 19-Oct-19 05:11:11

Yes, it freezes well maddyone.
